Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the Sprayberry Education Center.  We are committed to providing exemplary services based on recommended practices to children with diverse abilities and their families. The mission of the Sprayberry Education Center is to enable all children to reach their maximum potential within an educational and coordinated system of services in the Tuscaloosa County Schools. The programs at the Sprayberry Education Center include children with multiple disabilities, the medically fragile child, preschool children with moderate to severe disabilities, elementary students identified as gifted and talented in grades 3 - 5, elementary children with severe autism spectrum disorder and as an interim alternative placement for elementary children as recommended by the IEP team or disciplinary committee.
